EV Testing

By 2021 electrical vehicle take up had increased dramatically with over 260,000 vehicles registered by the end of May. In the previous year more than 181,000 electric vehicles sold with an increase of 125% on the year before.

Electric Vehicles are now out selling diesel variants as the motorist accepts the inevitable transition from combustion engine to battery power.

With the governments ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars approaching (2030), the roll out of EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) has also picked up pace with asset owners & duty holders keen to provide charging opportunities for road users.

EVSE must comply with the EAWR (Electricity at Work Regulations 1989) with the  recommendation of yearly inspections, due to the frequency of use and the daily interaction of the general public.

Electrical Testing are long-established specialists in the Highway Electrical industry, providing Inspection & Testing services to Asset Owners and Duty Holders across the UK.

With Qualified staff and the very latest EVSE test equipment we can report, complete remedial repairs if required and  produce compliant NICEIC certification.
